         ~ News: Joyce tried out the 'bad boys" table on the other side of the room today and

             declared it was a great seat, look out Obie, your seat is in jeoprady!

      Meeting Program:  

                       Brad, who has volunteered to serve as the councilor for our Rotary

                Youth Exchange Student Luca Regallo, talked about the program and showed

                a DVD which explained some of the Rotary and State department requirements

                of the program.  Luca is from Italy, and is expected to arrived in the United States

                in August. Luca will attend at least one of our meetings each month, if not more,

                and will join us in our service projects and events.

      50-50 Raffle

          (50% of the pot goes for club administration and 50% goes to the lucky individual if their       

          raffle ticket is chosen and they select the one joker hidden in the ever-decreasing deck of

          cards. If the joker is not drawn then the pot rolls over to the next week).

          

                   President Julie won the raffle and drew the 2 of Hearts losing $261.50,

         ( two weeks ago she lost with the 8 of Hearts, there seems to be a trend going)

           

Upcoming Programs: 

            August 4 - Membership, with Committee Chairs Pam & Pat

           August 11 -  Kittery Water District

           August 18 - Club Assembly, this meeting will be at the Portsmouth Masonic Hall

                              located at the corner of Market  and Miller Streets. Parking is across

                              Miller street in the fenced parking lot. Same day and time (0730). This

                              is the proposed site for this year's Celebrity Waiter dinner and this will

                             be an opportunity to see the potentials.
