Brian Nolen, responded to the devastation he saw in the invasion of Ukraine and knew he wanted to do something. Six trips and hundreds of of thousands of dollars of direct aide to Ukrainians later, he is planning on yet another trip into the country.
Brian Nolen, who lives in Bedford New Hampshire, was dismayed by the damage being done to the small communities close to the fighting in Ukraine and determined to get directly involved. needing to do more than just donate , he and friends including john Fitzgerald, flew to Europe where they volunteered with NGO's working to help refugees.  he found that transport was a critical need~ getting elderly, children, and women away to source of refuge and getting goods and supplies to the communities most in need.

He had to go to Germany to find an available truck. The truck was then used to purchase materials in western Ukraine, Poland, and Germany and transporting them to war destroyed communities in eastern Ukraine. He and John founded the NH4UKRAINE.org to raise funds and support.

Exchange rates and local availability in Europe, made purchase of goods in Europe most efficient.  He and other volunteers pick up the overhead costs. His own knowledge of supply sources, buying goods wholesale, and reliance on local communities to tell them what they need, makes the process effective, There have now been six trips made to Ukraine, with pictures and videos available on their website. A seventh trip, planned for a length of six months, is being organized
