Club President Pam corrected the information on the next meeting , it will be a Club business meeting (Bob Gray's presentation on Clubrunner will be March 19). Pam asked  all club members to research ideas for fundraisers, including checking out other club's website for inspiration.
Pam mentioned that this coming weekend will be the president-Elect Training seminar (PETS), to be attended by PDG Andy (PETS Committee), Pam (Incoming Assistant District Governor), Pauli (Club President-Elect), and possibly Maryna (current Assistant District Governor). She also reported that the key speaker this year will be the Rotary international President.

Preliminary reports are that this year there will be 8 applicants for Rotary Youth leadership Awards (RYLA) Camp. Last year Kittery had 12 students attend but two were funded by a District grant provided to rebuild Camp attendance after the pandemic and two were funded by York Rotary who had budgeted for more applicants than they received. Two were also funded by the Kittery rotary Afterhours Club. Pam asked for and received support for using reserve funds to support additional students if needed.

The next scheduled Club support for Table of Plenty is March 21st.

Nellie Young (Maryna's daughter) , will be giving a presentation on the Peru trip she took at the next international Cafe'. She is still raising funds to support the refurbishment of the school in Peru . Hopefully Nellie will be a speaker at an upcoming meeting.

5050 Raffle:50% of the proceeds go toward the Club administration and 50% goes into the "Pot". The owner of the selected raffle ticket gets to draw a card from an ever decreasing deck of cards, if they pull the Joker they get the "Pot", if not the Pot grows and the deck gets smaller.
Sue had the lucky ticket this morning. We had started a fresh "Pot" and Deck of cards last week, so Sue had a handful of cards to select from and a $20 "Pot".
But it was the 4 of Clubs that left the deck, so the Pot will grow, and the deck is just a wee bit smaller!
