Next Meeting: Astronomer and Professor Bernie Reim will be speaking on "April Skies and the Eclipse."
Meeting: Maryna and Keith have returned from their travels and joined us by zoom. Eric Waddell who normally leads the Student of the Month recognition is away giving a presentation in Rhode Island and Brad stepped in to fill his place.
Club president Pam reminded the club of next week’s presentation in anticipation of the April 8th solar eclipse and then the upcoming April Blood Drive.
50-50 Raffle: Bob had the lucky ticket this morning, so he got to select a card from the very full deck . The Pot has grown to $41. So, it was “All in the family” as his sister Pam presented the deck with the Joker (and we all know how that goes).
Sure enough. “But you’re a winner for having played the Game!” was the sibling sympathy for his loss, as he relieved the deck of the King of Spades.
At our meeting on March 26th, we were honored to recognize the March 2024 Students of the Month, For Shapleigh School, 8th Grader Adeline Economou, and for R.W. Traip Academy. Sophomore Olivia Sillsby.
