This is our Student of the Month meeting for December. We are also meeting with the R.W. Traip Students working on a school trip to Normandy France and we are joined by Chloe Scala, the owner of the new business in Kittery, "Board" for a "Briefly Business" presentation.
Club President Pam Gray was "under the weather" today and Past President (and Co-president -Elect) Brad Hirst stepped up as Acting President for the day.
Drawings for our Service Projects Fundraiser, December Calendar Raffle are continuing. Daily winners are being announced on the Club's Facebook page
Andy and Pam recently posted a picture of the Rotary Buoy they contributed to the Buoy Tree located at the Kittery Hardware Store. Funds raised by the Buoy tree are going the support the Mainspring Collaborative Project. Work on the building and the adjacent affordable housing project is already in progress.
50-50 Raffle: The holder of the lucky raffle ticket drawn has the opportunity to draw a card from our ever decreasing deck of cards, they draw the joker from the deck they get the pot (50% 0f the sale of the raffle tickets goes to club administration and 50% goes in "the pot". Today the sister of our Traip Academy Student of the month had the lucky ticket. There is currently $185.50 in the Pot"!
But, unfortunately, now has the 7 of Diamonds- so the pot grows!
