Next Meeting: January 31, 2024;Wednesday Club Social at "Board" 5:00 pm
No Meeting on Tuesday January 30th

Meeting:
The meeting was held at R.W. Traip Academy

Club President Pam opened the meeting with the presentation to Project Graduation, story below.

Pam reminded everyone of our Meet & Greet Social next week and invited our guests to join us at the "Board" next Wednesday:

The  Club Sponsored Blood Drive is February 15. Pam noted that this will be our 100th Blood Drive with an estimated 431 gallons of blood donated.. She noted that over the years Marie and Dave had both been at most of the Blood Drives, she neglected to mention that she knew that because she also had been to most of the Blood Drives and was the Club Blood Drive Coordinator of years and years (and years), big thank you to President Pam!!

Souper Bowl: We are doing the "Souper Bowl" again. Completion date is yet to be determined, but start bringing in soup donations or dropping them off at Pam & Andy's. The Soup will be donated to Footprints but is being collected in support of the Lions Club. Several years ago the Lions Clubs took this time of year to have a challenge collection for their local food pantries. Our Rotary Club decided to support our local Lions by helping to collect, and challenging the Lions to see who could collect more. The Afterhours Rotary Club joined the challenge (the Afterhours Club took honors the last two years, this year Pam is challenging us to take the lead.) The winners of course are the clients of the Footprints Food pantry.

District 7780 Midyear Luncheon:
Pam reported that five club members had attended this year's Midyear Luncheon. The event was enjoyed by all, each attending Past District Governor had to mention a little about their year including the theme for that year: a bit more of a challenge for PDG x2 Marie who had a couple of terms.  Assistant Governor Maryna took one picture, of Marie and Bruce!
Looking sharp at the District Midyear!

50-50 Raffle: 50% of the Raffle Proceeds go toward Club Administration, 50% goes into the Pot. The owner of the raffle ticket selected gets the opportunity to select a card from the decreasing deck. If the Joker is selected the individual gets the funds in the Pot. if the Joker is not selected, the pot rolls over as the deck gets smaller.

Andy had the selected raffle ticket this morning and there is $205.50 in the Pot.
Oh well! Several cards to your right Andy,
but you are all Heart ~ and the Pot grows!
