Hurricane support, The District had forwarded a notice of a special relief fund for Districts 33 and 34 for Hurricane Helene relief, to all District Rotarians. The Florida area of those effected are in the process of being hit again by another hurricane. A  motion was made and approved to make a Club donation out of savings of $500  to support the emergency fund.

Both Bob Guay and Andy had computers to donate to Computers4vets which we heard about last week, and Andy has volunteered to deliver .

Bob G initiated a discussion about speakers talking about projects or causes and club responses. Pauli mentioned that speakers are told ahead of time not to expect club financial support as a result of appearing before the club, as it is a small club with a small annual budget. Dave G commented that depending upon the subject , members may want to individually respond, but there are times when the Club may want to consider a vote to provide unbudgeted or contingent funds as a club contribution, and agreed with Bob's comment that discussion of a the type of club response, if any, to prior speakers, should be a board agenda item at a meeting subsequent to the presentation.

Pauli reminded everyone that the club had decided to make the Tuesday November 5th (election day) meeting, a zoom meeting.

Pam discussed the fact that District president-Elect training session are starting and a majority of the District Clubs have president elects already. In other words, it would be appropriate the Club's 2025-2026 Rotary year president as soon as possible.

Dave G talked about the Club Student Exchange Counselor position and getting a second individual trained and approved to to support. To be approved the individual has too complete the online quiz and background check. The is an upcoming interview with the Matty's  based upon Makili's application for a long term exchange , that the District Exchange Chair will do with Dave and hopefully a second approved Club representative .

The Traip Interact Club has a November clothing drive planned at Traip for a Saturday the end of November  and that looks like a good date to have and after the event pizza party for the Interact club
