On August 1st Club Co-Presidents Pauli and Brad presented a bag of books and workbook to each of the attendees at the Mitchell School Summer Pe-School program.  The books are intended to encourage the students to continue learning during the remaining days before they begin their formal school experience of kindergarten in September. The group was smaller this year and we did not get a chance to read "The Night Before Kindergarten" to them this year, but it is always great to meet and encourage the children as they start their school careers.

Some of the books included      Pauli and Brad presenting the bags

On August 6th the Rotary Club of Kittery had an eye-opening presentation on the dangers of melanoma from Dr. Steve Fine, Rotary Club of Peabody Massachusetts and President of the Melanoma Education Foundation.
