The Rotary Club of Kittery supports our high school students in many ways.  We award scholarships to several of our High School Graduating seniors. 

We encourage our incoming juniors to go to RYLA - Rotary Youth Leadership Awards - camp.  We pay the cost for several incominghigh school junior students each summer to attend this camp for a week to help them develop their leadership skills.

We, also, assist high school students to take part in the Youth Exchange Program.  This program is for a student to do a full high school year exchange in another country and they live with a student's family in that country.  The student from that country comes and stays with families in our town at the same time.

There is also a Short term exchange that is in the summer where the students get the opportunity to experience living in another country with another student's family oversea for several weeks in the summer and that foreign student stays with a family in our town at the same time.
