locally and  when he saw  what we did with the local

South Berwick-Eliot Club to participate in the same kind

of service in the area where his children went to school,

our loss but Rotary has gained.  Dee's grand daughter

      Meeting Program:

Rob Werner  introduced us to the organization "Americans for Campaign

Reform". The organization is working to provide public funding for all

elections similiar to the model  in Maine. Their intent is to free

politicians from the obligation to major donors and to

free them from the need to spend a major portion of their time

fundraising. He urged those who agreed with the need to let their

legislators know their support for the effort. The web site for  their

program is www.just6dollars.org, Rob left information for us that we

will have out for the next meeting.

      50-50 Rafflle

(50% of the pot goes for club administration and 50% goes to the lucky individual if their

raffle ticket is chosen and they select the one joker hidden in the ever-decreasing deck of

cards. If the joker is not drwn then the pot rolls over to the next week).
