hosting a table, at the present time it looks like we will have at least 13 tables.
The Dinner will be:fruit Cup, salad, chicken/shrimp/broccoli Alfredo with a chocolate
cake dessert - although it may be presented with other lables by each waiter depending
on their theme!

Next week is a large Students of the Month meeting with a total of six students expected.
The following week (November 3rd) are hoping the the entire club can be at the
meeting to celebrate with our District Governor his last "official" Club visit. DG Jeff
will be presenting the official message of the 2009-2010 year. He is in Westbrook-Gorham

on the evening of November 3rd.

District Governor Jeffrey Scott Pelkey is coming
to the Kittery Rotary Club November 3, 2009!
Both Julie and Pauli gave "Classification" talks today. We have long term club
members periodically talk about themselves for the benefit of newer members and as
done in each Rotary Club, new members give a"Classification" talk to tell the club a
little more about themselves, their work and families, and the things they enjoy doing.

President Julie made good use of hands as Pauli chose a more informal, seated approach,
she shared her history and interests but gave us an excellant life story sketch in only
a few minutes
50-50 Raffle
(50% of the pot goes for club administration and 50% goes to the lucky individual if their
raffle ticket is chosen and they select the one joker hidden in the ever-decreasing deck of
cards. If the joker is not drawn then the pot rolls over to the next week).
Pat won the raffle, but drew the 7 of diamonds, losing $449 ~ there are
not many cards left!
