Barbara Moulton from Kittery Holiday Baskets could not be with us today
due to illness, but some of us will go down to the First Christian where they are packing
the Thanksgiving boxes, bringing the club's donation. Many dollars were offered in
appreciation of our Student of the Month, Thanksgiving and the Kittery Holiday Baskets
Club News:
Dave G.announced that this is the final week of our Fall Rotary Foundation
matching donation drive
December 6th ~ the Christmas parade, and we will be providing free cookies and
cocoa at the end of the Parade with the support of Noel's Cafe
thanks to Jeff Furbish.
Mike Effenberger will play the piano at the Free Senior's Holiday Dinner December 14th
(Thanks to Brad who made the contact for us!)
Both Pres-Elect Julie and President Sue will be off next week on vacations (seperately).
So far , with help from "Lucky Larry' and "Super Elf" Russ and his table of elves, we have
raised $1057 for Kittery Holiday Baskets, along with about 5 large boxes of food, all
was delivered to Kittery Holiday Baskets immediately after the meeting (See the
Photo Album)
Meeting Program:
This was our November Student of the Month meeting. We were proud to have Rachel
Philbrick, her parents Tim and Heather, and teacher Kerry Zacari as our guests from Traip.
Our student of the Month from Shapleigh School will have to be recognized at a later
meeting, the student's parents had planned a surprise vacation for this week.
50-50 Rafflle
(50% of the pot goes for club administration and 50% goes to the lucky individual if their
raffle ticket is chosen and they select the one joker hidden in the ever-decreasing deck of
cards. If the joker is not drwn then the pot rolls over to the next week).
Barry lost $70.50, no record of the card selected- but he missed the joker ;-(
The Robinson family struck twice in as many weeks as Alan's Dad, Rodney Robinson, was
selected as winner of the $100 calender raffle, the pressure is on for a hat trick
next week!

December 9 ~ Kendra Downs will join us to introduce us to
WomenAde, a local community action group,

All Happy/Sad Dollars this Quarter are going to Kittery Holiday Baskets
Do not forget to bring in canned goods donation weekly, we will also be
collecting clothes and toys for kittery Holiday Baskets in
December, children's underwear and sleep wear are always needed
