Kittery Rotary has two major fundraisers to fund service projects during the year.

The first is the Celebrity Waiter Dinner November 5th. Tickets are ready. We need

people to sign up to be table waiters and we need to sell tickets.

S15  S16

The event was a great deal of fun last year and we need another great turnout to

fund our next year's service work.

The club had a wonderful social Monday the 28th at the beautiful home of Frank & Ruth

Clark on Chauncey Creek.  The event was coordinated by Susie and Greg Rydza. Kittery

Estates Chef Todd Sweet not only provided the delicous entree but also did much of the set

up and cleanup.for us. The McCarthys and Duncan McEachern joined us for the evening.

Susie and Todd coordinated the food             A beautiful setting for a gathering

S5

We had lots of great food

Todd had volunteered his efforts and not being 'on duty" was able to join everyone sharing a glass of wine on the lawn overlooking Chauncey Creek.

S3  S6

An elegant setting                                        Chef Todd joined the party watching the sun set

s7

The sun set over Chauncey Creek, Mathew and Peter Robinson joined us, Matt now towers over most of us, rumored to be 6' 3" and growing

Originally from Florida Todd married a new Hampshire girl and is now firmly a New Englander. His stylish chef's outfit added a great deal of class to our "Potluck" social.

S8  S9

Luca displayed pictures of his recent adventures   Todd, Susie, the Brazeaus, Luca, and Paul C

We were joined by our Rotary Youth Exchange student Luca Regallo and his host "parents" the Brazeaus. Luca brought pictures from the orientation weekend and last week's District organized rafting trip down the Kennebec. Many thanks to Our hosts, our event coordinators, and to Todd for a very great time.

S10  S11

As the sun set the party moved indoors               Carolynn and Allen are joined by our third host

S13

Applause all around for a great evening with special thanks to Kittery Estates Chef Todd Sweet,

      Meeting Program:

.Obie told of about his experiances at Camp P.O.S.T.C.A.R.D.. A one week camp for

children who would not usually get a chance to go to Camp. The camp is staffed mostly by

police officers from around Maine, Obie was the lone Fireman reppresentative this year.

O1  O2  O3

The councilor's provide mentoring and structure to the camp experiance that the mostly 11

year olds had never experianced.  Obie reported the experience to be highly rewarding as

well as challenging and the needs of most of the campers were significant.

O4

"Fishy Kiss!"

He enjoyed watching his cabin of wild campers develop into a closely knit and successful

team. For the last several years Kittery Rotary has sponsored a camper to the camp, The

town of Kittery sends five or six campers each year, funded by donations and the efforts of

          the volunteers.
