President Julie reported that a thankyou note was received from the
Volunteers of America Board for our support of a camper at Camp P.O.S.T.C.A.R.D.
and a thankyou note for her scholarship award was received from Olivia Roy..
Marie noted that with Frisbee School closing, how were we going to label
our donated speakers books? It was recommended that our labels just indicate
it is a donation to the Kittery Schools libraries. The club voted the change approved.
After the meeting Julie, Alan, and Dave visited the Masonic Lodge in Portsmouth,
the following pictures are from that visit. President Julie decided that we would hold our
Club Assembly in August at the Lodge to discuss the Celebrity Waiter Dinner venue there.
August 18, Tuesday 7:30 the club Meeting will be at the Masonic Lodge
in Portsmouth. A voluntary donation to offset the breakfast meal cost will
be taken. President Julie will provide more details.

There is a stage which can be used for added table space (not handicap accessible)

The hall looks like it can seat over 200, 180 or more with space, there are 18 round table and plenty of rectangular tables

The steps entering the hall are supported by a handicap assist 'elevator"

In this view the chair can be seen on the right hand side of the entry way

Looking across the hall toward the entrance to the kitchen

There is a room beyond the kitchen which can hold several tables if needed (it was suggested that this be the "cave" for the wild party groups!)
50-50 Raffle
(50% of the pot goes for club administration and 50% goes to the lucky individual if their
raffle ticket is chosen and they select the one joker hidden in the ever-decreasing deck of
cards. If the joker is not drawn then the pot rolls over to the next week).
Brad won the raffle and drew the 10 of diamonds losing $244.50
